SETUP WIZARD
DirectSound Driver Setup Levitra Facts
In the DirectSound streaming buffer section
you'll see a slider that sets the audio buffer length.
A larger buffer setting means more stable performance (without
underruns). However, a larger
buffer also means that there will be a slight delay between playing
notes (important if you have a MIDI/USB keyboard connected),
tweaking knobs and pushing sliders and the response of FL Studio.
The delay will be the same as the buffer size.
The ability to reduce the buffer size without buffer underruns
(clicks and pops in the audio) depends on your CPU speed and sound
card. It's recommended to leave the default settings and try the
demo songs. You may then need to come back to the audio settings
F10 and fine-tune the setting (buffer as small as
possible without any underruns, 20-40 ms is typical with a good
card). Note that the best buffer size may vary from project to
project, depending on the CPU usage of the song.
For more information on the rest of the settings in that section
go to the Audio Settings
page.
