SETUP WIZARD File Settings SetupClick the File tab in the System Settings window. The Browser extra search directories section lets you set additional directories you want to see in the Browser (such as locations that contain sample collections, FLP files, presets etc.). Those folders are also used when FL Studio searches for missing samples when loading a project file. You can either double-click the fields in the Directory column to enter these paths manually, or click the corresponding browse button on the left side of each field to browse the folder. The Name column contains fields where you can set the name that is shown in the Browser for the corresponding directories. Double-click to edit a name. The default folder where FL Studio will search for VST effects and instruments (VSTi) is "<FL Studio Root>/Plugins/VST". However, if you have other applications that support VST plugins, you may want FL Studio to load VST effects from their location. Then click the browse button in the VST plugins extra search directory section to set one additional VST folder in FL Studio.
