Using FL Studio. -

Without effects (FX), your tracks will probably sound thin and boring. Fortunately, FL Studio has a large array of FX at your disposal. If you are new to music production, getting to know what each effect does, its controls and best use, takes time. It really is a craft, so be patient. The three most used FX in modern music production are ‘EQ',‘reverb’ and ‘compression’. Reading about these first will give you a head start.

The Mixer and Effects: Before you hear any of the instruments in your song, their audio output must be processed though the FL Studio's mixer system. Each of the instrument' output is directed to one of the 64 insert mixer tracks where the sound is processed with a set of mastering filters, and may optionally be processed with a set of additional external filters and special effects. In the default setup of the Mixer, all mixer tracks are processed in parallel, then sent to the master mixer track before the final sound is formed. However, with the 4 additional send tracks, and the ability to route the audio output of a mixer track to any other track, you have the freedom to create complex hierarchical mixing chains. 3rd Party Effects: FL Studio comes with a complete kit of high-quality effects so there is no need to purchase anything else in order to make professional quality tracks. FL studio supports a wide range of plugin standards so you will have no trouble finding compatible software.
