GLOSSARY GateOnline cigarettesThe gate is an audio processor that cuts the sound if its volume falls below given threshold. Gate processors are used for variety of purposes, such as eliminating noise during speech pauses, or for special effects, as in the TS404 generator (see TS404 Channel Settings), where gate can be used for creating shorter, staccato sounds. |
